I am a city girl at heart who was raised amid wheat and strawberry fields in rural eastern Oregon.  I married my childhood sweetheart at 21, and shortly thereafter moved to Washington, DC, which is why you see so many DC backdrops in my portfolio.  In May of 2014 we made the trek back across the country to Portland, Oregon before finally returning to my family’s homestead to take over Winn Homestead Events. Even though we’ve put down roots in Eastern Oregon, I still plan to make annual or biannual trips back to DC for photography sessions.

I love yoga, traveling, meeting new people, running, wine, carbohydrates, and singing!

I chose to work in photography because I get to capture what is fleeting – moments in time. Images have the power to refresh our memories when we have forgotten that little giggle, the innocent sparkle in a child’s eye, the feeling of a first kiss, or the tiny fingers and toes of a newborn. It is my joy and my honor to document people’s lives even if just for a few moments.  Each person, couple, family, child has a unique story to tell and I aim to authentically tell those stories through images.
